Banbury United are sweating on the fitness of Chris Potter ahead of their tough trip to Southern League Premier Division rivals King's Lynn.
The former Oxford City winger came off just after half-time of their 3-2 victory at fourth-placed Chesham United - their first success of the season - with a hamstring strain and is rated doubtful.
Player-boss Kevin Brock said the win, which followed a run of three straight league defeats, had given his side a real lift.
"I was very pleased after that win, so were the players, the supporters, and, of course, the chairman.
"We've got to try to take that performance into our next game.
"It's always difficult going there. They get about 1,000 supporters at home and it can be intimidating.
"You have to keep the game tight early on, because you don't want them to build up a head of steam.
"But it can also work the other way. There is a lot of expectation at King's Lynn and if things don't go their way then the crowd will be on their backs."
