BANBURY United were a touch unfortunate not to take three points after drawing 0-0 at Premier Division rivals Stamford on Saturday.
Banbury took the game to their opponents from the off, and were unlucky not to take the lead when Chris Potter collected a Jody McKay flick-on, but, after beating his man, was foiled by a good save from Darren Watts at the near post.
Banbury keeper Simon Tricker had little to do, but had to be alert to save Kevin Byrne's back-header on the stroke of half-time.
Both teams huffed and puffed after the break, but neither could find a winner.
