Animal rights protesters staged a demonstration outside Oxford University's Said Business School to protest against the new biomedical research laboratory.
Last month the university won a High Court injunction which imposed a 35-metre no-harassment zone around the half-built laboratory in South Parks Road.
Demonstrations are permitted on Thursdays opposite the site. These are restricted to 25 protesters and can only last four hours.
But the injunction does not prevent protesters from staging demonstrations outside other university buildings.
On December 13, 10 members of the campaign group Speak, dressed in monkey suits, handed out leaflets and used loud hailers.
Three police officers attended the demonstration in Frideswide Square and told the protesters they had no objection to them continuing.
The protest started shortly after midday and lasted about two hours.
