LUKE Holden hit a hat-trick as Six Bells Kidlington put the brakes on Rose Hill's climb up the Premier Division with a fine 6-3 victory.

Despite falling 2-0 down early on, Bells battled back to level by the break with goals from Jon Twiss and Holden.

And they continued to dominate in the second period as goals from Daniel Morris and Danny Mason put them in the driving seat.

Hill pulled one back, only for Bells to accelerate away again, Holden grabbing a brace to complete his hat-trick and secure the points.

In the battle of the Stars, a rejuvenated Star Royal paid a visit to Star Wanderers and came away with a 3-1 victory.

In an even game, Wanderers' top goalscorer Lee Keyes could only manage a single strike, while Robert Parsons, Luke Brandon and Dominic Geoghagan replied for Royal to seal the win.

The Nelson continue to dominate Division 1, maintaining their 100 per cent record by coming away from Wolvercote with a comfortable 8-1 victory.

Once they get in front, Nelson tend to steam-roller the opposition, and Wolvercote were no exceptions.

The outstanding Anaclet Odhiambo grabbed five goals, with the others coming from Ben Moses, Michaes Herbert - back after a three-week injury - and substitute Chris Hambridge, who netted with his first touch.

Northway visited Arncott where the boggy pitch was almost unplayable. However, referee Matt Reed, who had an excellent game, ruled the game could go ahead.

Northway found themselves 1-0 down after five minutes as the defence slipped and slid all over the place, but they battled back and levelled five minutes later when Chris Baker fired home.

An excellent Arncott free-kick made it 2-1.

But back came Northway to level a second time, Simon Bower heading home a fine corner from Danny Goodchild, and the same pair combined to give Northway a 3-2 lead with only 25 minutes gone.

Some fine saves from Peter Bower in the Northway goal kept them in front until the break, after which the visitors dominated.

From a host of chances, James Gray grabbed a brace, one after an excellent solo run, and substitute Aaron Hall netted a sixth to secure the points.

Hollybush struggled to defeat a dogged OSI in Division 2, despite playing against ten men in the second period after the visitors' keeper got his marching orders, but eventually ran out 5-3 victors.

A thumping Darren Witchall free-kick gave Hollybush the lead and a brace from Lee Cherry saw them 3-1 up at the break.

Cherry completed his hat-trick in the second half and Keiron Ellis made sure of the victory despite OSI pulling two back.
