Oxford Hawks produced a superb performance in London to beat Teddington 7-1 in Division 2 of the South Clubs League.
Hawks started strongly, with Emma Batten opening the scoring with less than a minute gone after a good through ball from Henri Coles.
Five minutes later, Hawks extended their lead, with Hannah Williamson smashing the ball home from the top of the D.
The third came moments before half-time, with excellent skills from Wendy Gundry on the left wing setting up Batten for her second.
After the break, Sue Clark drove through the midfield, forcing a double save from the Teddington keeper.
A short corner was awarded, and Hawks extended their lead with an excellent strike from Mandy Borrett.
Teddington pulled one back, but Kelly Fogden increased the visitors' lead from close range.
Gundry added the next, and Kathryn Spencer completed the rout with a well-worked short corner routine moments from the final whistle.
Hawks now face Oxfordshire rivals West Witney this Saturday, with a 2pm pushback at Banbury Road North.
West Witney were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Hampstead & Westminster.
Meanwhile, in the Trysports 3 Counties League, City of Oxford were beaten 3-0 at Marlow in the Premier Division.
Abingdon-based Pilgrims continued their rich vein of form with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Banbury in a mid-season friendly at Tilsley Park.
Pilgrims fought back from going one down, with Laura Dean bagging two goals and captain Claire Mellor added the third.
