South League: City of Oxford all but guaranteed their survival in the Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Regional League with a 2-0 victory over South Bucks.
After a tight first half, City took control of the midfield, thanks to Chris Letts and Steve Bell.
They took ther lead when fellow midfielder Dan Haynes lashed in a shot from the top of the circle which deflected off an opponent's stick before dropping over the goal- keeper.
The goal opened up the game and South Bucks created some good chances which City keeper Phil Pearson saved comfortably.
They secured the points when, following a melee in the South Bucks goalmouth, Dave Mold latched onto the loose ball and finished neatly under the keeper.
City now look certain to maintain their league place for next season, and could still finish in the top five if this form continues in the last three games.

Rover opened the scoring in the second minute as Smyth robbed a defender before drilling a shot into the bottom left-hand corner of the goal.
The visitors squandered a couple of clear chances which allowed BA back into the game. They equalised through their first short corner, and then took the lead with a well-worked goal.
Just before half-time, Smyth scored his second goal to make it 2-2 at the break.
After resisting strong BA pressure, Rover raised their game in the last 15 minutes.
