Abingdon Film Club is linking up with a string quartet for a screening of a film about the work of English composer Frederick Delius as part of the Abingdon Arts Festival.
Before a showing of Ken Russell's Song of Summer, the Bonnici String Quartet from Oxford will play the composer's string quartet, Late Swallows.
The film, about Delius and his assistant Eric Fenby, is showing at St Michael's Church in Park Road on Saturday March 12 at 7.30pm.
It stars Max Adrian as Delius and Christopher Gable as Fenby.
Mike Bloom, secretary of the Abingdon College and District Film Society, said: "We like staging events like this where we combine two art forms.
"The Abingdon Arts Festival and the Church in Abingdon give us the opportunity to do it and in the past, these events have always drawn good public support."
Tickets are available at Modern Music in High Street, Abingdon, and Frugal Foods in West St Helen Street or by phoning 01235 522163.
