City of Oxford's Joe Canlan-Shaw and Matthew Corbett were in superb form as they won two titles each at the Oxfordshire & North Buckinghamshire ASA County Championships and age group comp- etitions in Aylesbury.
Canlan-Shaw scorched to victory in the 100m and 200m backstroke events.
His most impressive swim was in the 100m event, but a poor finish meant he failed to beat the 60-second barrier and had to be content with 1.00.95.
Corbett took the junior championships in both the backstroke events.
Another City swimmer Emma Ball claimed the girls' junior championship in the 200m backstroke in 2.24.24.
She also struck silver in both the county and junior championship in the 50m breaststroke, with teammate Pippa Canlan-Shaw claiming third place in both events.
The only other Oxford swimmers to be placed in championship events were Susanna Prince in the 50m Butterfly, and both Pippa Canlan-Shaw and Allenor Jenkins-Strong in the 100m freestyle.
In the younger age groups, swimmers catching the eye have been Banbury's Neil Crofts who won the county title in the 50m butterfly with Wantage White Horse's swimmer Robert Bowles taking the junior championship in the same event.
In his 100m freestyle race, he took nearly two seconds off his best time to take second place and then teamed up with Dan Aspell, Mark Denny and Jack Geden in the junior freestyle relay.
James Meaney, ten, won the 50m butterfly, Rebecca Pepler (10) the 50m breaststroke and Lauren Evans (16) in the 200m breaststroke.
Lucy Rippington, eight, the youngest swimmer at the championships, finished a credible fifth place against the nine-year-olds in the 50m butterfly.
