Didcot Town got the perfect result as they avoided the two big guns in the semi-final draw for the FA Vase, made at White Hart Lane yesterday.
Town were paired with the winners of the Jarrow/Frome Town game, with the first leg to be at their Loop Meadow Stadium on Saturday, March 19.
The Jarrow v Frome quarter-final, which was posptoned last Saturday, will now be played this weekend.
Didcot were the first name pulled out of the famous velvet bag by ex-Spurs defender Justin Edinburgh, and there was an audible sigh of relief when Jarrow/Frome came out second.
The other semi-final will see favourites AFC Sudbury, bidding for their third successive final, take on former finalists Bedlington Terriers.
Didcot assistant manager Paul Noble was delighted with the draw.
He said: "It was just what we were looking for. That takes nothing away from either of the two we are going to play, but it gives us the best chance.
"The only down side is playing home in the first leg, but it is a great draw.
"The town is going to get right behind us. We can get 1500-plus for the semi - and if we get to the final, our support will be fantastic."
Didcot secretary Simon Kelly added: "It's just brilliant. We are so close now, and we have got a real chance."
