Morrells of Oxford Sunday League - Goalkeeper Jason Hunt wasthe hero for Star Wanderers Res as his late penalty save earned a 2-1 victory against Division 1 rivals Red Lion Yarnton.
Star dominated the early exchanges and took the lead on the half-hour when Colin Donahue slotted home from the penalty spot.
Emmett McGovern then doubled their advantage three minutes later with a bullet-like header from 25 yards into the top left-hand corner of the Red Lion net.
Ten minutes after the break, though, Red Lion got right back into the game when Scot Thomas fired home.
But their hopes of levelling were dashed when Hunt performed his heroics ten minutes from time.
Nathan Turner smashed a four-timer as Railway Wheatley took advantage of Oxford Supporters' inactivity to go top of Division 2 with a 5-0 thrashing of Chalgrove.
It took his tally to an incredible 11 in his last three games.
