Robbie Grant-Downton claimed the boxer of the night award in Berinsfield ABC's latest tournament at Didcot Town Football Club.
Grant-Downton recorded a determined points win over Thames Valley rival Robert Smith.
It proved to be a successful night for the host club with five wins out of eight on the 16-bout bill.
Patrick Doran provided a winning start to the night for the host club, claiming his third consecutive success with a split decision over Walcot's Corren McPherson.
This encounter swung to and fro during three electric rounds from a committed pair of schoolboys where only the proverbial thickness of a cigarette paper separated the two.
Jye Holland just had the edge on accuracy to claim all three votes following his pulsating clash with Arthur McDonagh (Blackbird Leys).
Martin Collins completed the list of schoolboy successes for the Berinsfield outfit with a split decision over Barrie Dann, the 13 year-old nephew of Plymouth-based British professional middleweight champion Scott Dann.
Robbie Wright made occasional switches to the southpaw stance as he avenged a previous defeat with a hard-working split decision over Broad Plain rival Danny Butler.
But southpaw Mark Sadler failed to match the strike rate of Lydney's 2004 national schoolboy champion, Chris Higgs, and could offer few arguments against the decision.
Michael Wall left it too late to redress the balance as he lost his debut on points to Abingdon's Darren Cuddy.
And Michael Rendell missed out on a split verdict following a close and absorbing encounter with Carl Howes.
Paddy Maughan began briskly, but the Blackbird Leys youngster failed to match the crisper delivery of taller Plymouth rival Scott Wilson in the final two rounds and lost on points.
