Juan Pablo Raponi could make an appearance for Oxford United's reserves in their Oxfordshire Senior Cup semi-final against Thame United at Court Place Farm tonight (7.30).
The 22-year-old Argentine was left out of the starting line-up for Saturday's Coca-Cola League Two game at Mansfield, which the U's won 3-1.
It's likely that all five subs from Field Mill will feature, including striker Craig Davies, who grabbed the opening goal in the 2-0 victory over Carterton in the last round.
Also included are Tom Winters, a non-playing squad member at Mansfield, and French forward Karam Amine, who has impressed with his skill level.
But the U's leading scorer, Tommy Mooney, who was left out at the weekend, is not in the squad.
Head coach Horacio Rodriguez said he wanted to give Mooney a rest, and the 33-year-old striker is likely to be back in the squad for this Saturday's "Kid A Quid" League Two game against Boston United at the Kassam Stadium.
Said United coach David Oldfield: "These Senior Cup games are good games for us, both for players' fitness and because they are competitive.
"It's one that has real meaning. Both teams will be eager to get to the final and that gives it an extra dimension."
Thame will be without striker John Mitchell after he failed to recover from a hamstring injury.
Fellow striker Alex Stewart is back in contention after he played an hour for the reserves, having recovered from a groin operation.
Jonny Wilson returns from suspension, while Alex Smith and keeper Richard Barrett are added to the squad.
Tom Goffe, Nik Rhodes and Adam Rhodes are unavailable.
West said: "With the players they are likely to put out, Oxford should win the game, but you never know in the cup.
"It would be nice to beat them because last year we lost to them in the semi-finals in the last minute of extra-time."
Witney United will face Oxford City in the other semi-final at Marriotts Stadium next Tuesday (7.45).
