Ardeshir Izadpanah, Dehzad Rezadoust, Mohammed Ali Akbari, Mojtada and Hashem Taati are due to arrive in London after a week-long walk from Birmingham, where they all now live, on March 19.
They spent last night giving talks to supporters in Oxford Town Hall and will take part in a demonstration, along with Oxford campaigners, in the capital.
Mr Izadpanah, who moved to Birmingham five years ago from Iran, said: "We feel very strongly about what is happening in our own country and other Islamic countries, particularly the threat from America, and we are grateful for the support we are receiving from people like those we have met in Oxford."
There are fears in Iran about the United States targeting its nuclear power facility at Bushehr, following the war in Iraq.
Nuala Young, of Oxford CND and Oxford for Peace, who is taking part in the March 19 demonstration, said: "There is a strong anti-war and peace movement in Oxford, and we are as much against these wars on Islamic countries as the people living there."
