NEWS junkies keen to find out more about how the county's media works will have an opportunity to find out more on Saturday March 19.
The Oxfordshire Local News Campaign is holding a series of workshops aimed at informing people about how they can get involved in keeping Oxford's news locally-based.
Workshops will take place about the press, TV and radio and public service broadcasting.
Coordinator Anna Wagstaff said: "The campaign has been running for a few months now after it became apparent that people need to know how the media work and how to discuss problems.
"The workshops will allow people to talk about how they perceive things, good and bad, and to find out about how newsrooms work."
The workshops are being held at Oxford Cherwell and College's campus in Oxpens Road, Oxford, from 1pm until 3.45pm.
