SPEEDWAY H-bombs blitz rivals OXFORD Silver Machine's two H-bombs, Greg Hancock and Billy Hamill, savaged the Wolverhampton Wolves 47-41 in their Airtek Challenge at Oxford Stadium.
The American aces promised a lot, and they didn't let the fans down.
Riding together for the first time in five years, they revived their old heat 13 and heat 15 magic to sway this closely-fought affair.
Hamill didn't have the best of starts, getting tucked under the fence as heat four was re-run after Kryzsztof Pecyna crashed out.
Then Lukas Dryml and Ronnie Correy hardly got to the first bend before both crumpled in a heap.
There was more drama when both Tom Madsen (engine failure) and Pycena missed the start of the re-run in heat eight.
Even so, the teams were locked together at 23 apiece thanks to Travis McGowan and Billy Hamill, who soon recovered from his first ride embarrassment to storm home ahead of Steve Johnston.
McGowan came from last to first as he was seen home safely by Greg Hancock for the first maximum heat win for the Silver Machine.
