I would like to respond to Julia Colwell's letter about the Dancing Dragon restaurant in north Oxford (Oxford Mail, March 10).
I was also there on Mother's Day with my two daughters, granddaughter and husband. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and as usual the food was delicious.
This restaurant is very popular and well frequented and especially on Mother's Day, you would expect it to be busy. As always, the staff treated us very well. They even found time to come round to every table to take a photograph free of charge.
Our table was cleared as soon as we had finished eating every course and we were asked if we required more drinks.
We were there between 1.30 and 3pm and I can say that at no time did we find dishes empty -- the staff were continually re-filling them.
Yes, there were queues at times, but they moved very quickly.
One of my daughters has just had surgery on both her feet and she would not have been able to stand for a long time in a queue but she had no trouble.
We use this restaurant for all our family anniversaries and will continue to do so.
In future, I suggest that Mrs Colwell and her family choose a restaurant that isn't as popular as the Dancing Dragon.
I would also say that the bold words at the top of the letters page, Greed spoiled Mother's Day, are grossly unfair -- this was only one person's opinion. LIZ BIRD, Ulfgar Road, Wolvercote, Oxford
