Lukas Dryml will be under the spotlight when Oxford Silver Machine bid to build on their 47-41 win over Wolverhampton in the return leg at Monmore Green tonight (7.30).
The talented Czech Republic rider had a nightmare return to Sandy Lane in the important No 3 position.
He never once looked his normal self and appears to be very rusty after his recent lay-off through injury.
Silver Machine had to give best against the Wolves for much of the first leg, before Billy Hamill and Greg Hancock weaved their magic to secure victory.
Oxford will be looking to the pair for inspiration again.
And promoter Nigel Wastaff said: "It looked as they rode together yesterday, let alone five years ago."
In Mikael Max, Wolverhampton have a world class performer and with their reserves likely to outdo the Oxford pair of Tom Madsen and Kjastas Puodzuks, it could be a fiercely-contested affair.
Wolverhampton: Max, Correy, Lindgren, Johnston, Howe, Karlsson, Pecyna.
Oxford: Hancock, McGowan, Dryml, Iversen, Hamill, Madsen, Puodzuks.
