United took the lead after 62 minutes when Anaclet Odhiambo was brought down inside the penalty area. He picked himself up and sent the keeper the wrong way from the resultant spot-kick.

After Abingdon's Micheas Herbert was lucky not to give away a penalty, Bishops Cleeve equalised in the 87th minute.

The home side failed to clear a corner and Baycliffe stabbed the ball over the line in a goalmouth scramble.

Carterton 2, Witney United 0: A goal in each half gave Carterton victory in the west Oxfordshire derby.

Paul Sherwood's strike, from a Kevin Lewis pass, gave Carterton the lead after ten minutes.

They finished with only nine, after Phil Penning was sent off after a confrontation with a linesman in the 85th minute.

Many of the Letcombe team had just returned from a ski trip, and they were heading downhill after second-half goals for Chalfont by Mark Hefferman, Kevin Franklin and Marcus Fearon.

Defender Sean Webb scored his first goal of the season to give Letcombe some consolation.
