Witney Utd 1, Oxford City 2: Oxford City were made to fight hard before booking their place in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup final with last night's victory over Hellenic League Witney.
The first half was dominated by the home side and Lee Keyes twice went close to giving them the lead, only to be denied by keeper Matt Finlay.
City broke the deadlock on 31 minutes when a neat run and cross by Garath McCleary saw Mark Simms sidefoot home.
Witney keeper Sean Purcell saved well from Garry Parker and Ronnie Joe in the second half, but the home side were still dangerous as Toby Clarke twice went close.
With nine mines left, City added a second, Joe sending Stuart Dougles clear to score, before Gary Wright grabbed a late consolation for Witney.
City will face Oxford United in the final at the Kassam Stadium on April 19.
