Abingdon Tn 2, Wembley 0: Abingdon Town stretched their unbeaten run in Ryman League Division 2 to five games with victory over relegation candidates Wembley at Culham Road on Saturday.
Town withstood early pressure, before taking the lead in the 12th minute when Mark Baker raced clear and finished well past keeper James Beavers.
Gareth Paxton fired just over the bar and Danny Wise headed inches wide as Abingdon finished the half strongly.
And they extended their lead in the 59th minute when Paxton rammed home a shot from the edge of the box after James Organ's free-kick was blocked by a defender.
Andy Marriott headed just wide as Abingdon ran out comfortable winners.
