Easter has been celebrated with chocolate eggs, bonnets and hot cross buns across Oxfordshire - but the Christian message was not forgotten.
On Good Friday, there was a procession by the congregation of the Methodist Church through Witney.
People watched a dance of Good Friday Worship by Rebecca Lock from the church while Rev Roger Faulkner carried a cross.
People of all ages got into the holiday spirit to make the most of the mild weather and days off school and work.
Witney Toy Library held an Easter Egg hunt for little ones to use their brains to find some chocolate eggs at St Mary's Church.
There was an Easter twist at Edward Feild School in Kidlington when dinner lady and parent Sue Trafford sold Easter cakes to parents and children in a bid to raise money for the school.
Her cake sales are a weekly feature at the school on Bicester Road.
At Little Pippins pre-school in Gaveston Road, Harwell, there was an Easter flavour to the retirement of Yvonne Hinchcliffe, who has worked there for 25 years.
As well as a presentation, there was an Easter Bonnet parade.
The Oxford Mail also wanted to do something special over Easter, so our sales executive Nikki Stook and advertising manager Gail Ainsworth delivered Easter eggs to children in hospital.
