Chris in demand OXFORD United winger Chris Hackett is enjoying the best form of his career - and he's put it down to getting a run in the team.

Hackett's pacy bursts down the right, and much-improved crossing and dead-ball deliveries, have attracted several big clubs.

Southampton, Leicester and Newcastle have all watched Oxford games recently and are believed to have been looking at Hackett and Wales Under 21 international Craig Davies.

The Sandford speed merchant has also done well when playing up front and on the left flank.

But it's because Ramon Diaz and Horacio Rodriguez have shown faith in him, he's says.

"I've had a good run in the team, 14 games I think it is - the longest run I've ever had in the first-team - and that's why I feel my form is good," he said.

"I've been a substitute a lot in the past and I'd always said I just needed a decent run to be able to show what I can do."

Hackett said it was flattering to be linked to big clubs.

"You hear rumours, of course, but all I want to do is keep playing well and keep trying to impress the management."
