People in a village where a gunman is attacking lambs fear people could become his next target.
And David Prosser, chairman of Horton-cum-Studley Parish Council called for the Army to be brought in a bid to catch the gunman in the act.
In the meantime police have stepped up patrols in the area and moved a mobile police station to the village.
So far more than 70 animals have been killed or injured during the night in the village near Oxford.
On the night of May 1 the gunman struck again shooting 10 animals - seven lambs and three ewes.
Timothy Hallchurch, district councillor for the village, said: "Everyone is concerned. They are concerned that this is probably a disturbed individual who could possibly even shoot at people.
"If you are shooting at night, at lambs, you don't know where the bullets are going."
The RSPCA has put up a £1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Call police on 08458 505505.
