Frilford Heath member Katherine O'Connor produced some sizzling golf to lift the Oxfordshire Schools' Championship, beating more than 50 boys in the process.
The 15-year-old shot a gross 71 at North Oxford to take the title ahead of 52 boys and one girl.
Her performance was so good that she slashed her handicap of seven down to 5.8 and now goes on to the regional final at Canterbury.
O'Connor, who is also a member at Tadmarton Heath, represented the Warriner School in the championship, which featured pupils up to the age of 18.
Her father, Arthur, said: "Katherine has had some very good results recently.
"She was one of only two girls competing against 52 boys with handicaps as low as +1.
"She carded a three-over-par gross 71 to win the title by one shot."
The win saw O'Connor through to the southern regional final in June where she will bid to qualify for an England trial.
Her father added: "This follows a third place in the BB&O Girls Junior Championships at Badgemore Park the previous week, where she finished two shots behind the winning score of 76.
"The previous week, she reached the quarter-final of the Oxfordshire Ladies championships (where she lost to eventual winner Giverny Porter) and has now been selected to represent the county at South East County week at Beaconsfield at the end of June."
