A display depicting the history as well as the current activities of Wantage Baptist Church has gone on show at the Vale and Downland Museum.

The exhibition gives details of how the church began in 1649 and about current plans to redevelop the existing church building in Mill Street. There is also information about some of the church's early ministers and about famous preachers who have visited the church -- including the author of Pilgrim's Progress, John Bunyan.
