China's Ministry of Education and Oxford University will jointly fund a scholarship scheme for graduate students from China studying in Oxford.
The project, which will run for two years, will begin next year and will cater for 10 postgraduates in the first year and another 10 in the second.
The scholarships will pay for tuition fees, college fees, living expenses and the cost of one flight between the two countries.
The Chinese will pay for flights and living costs, and Oxford will cover fees.
