Stefan Andersson will take his place in the Oxford Silver Machine line-up at Peterborough tonight, despite crashing out of the meeting at Coventry on Saturday.
Andersson was though to have aggravated an old thigh injury, but was given the all-clear after a trip to the local hospital on Saturday.
It's just as well as the Oxford Silver Machine will need a squad with all guns firing to keep the Panthers at bay.
Peterborough almost shattered Swindon's unbeaten home record on Monday, going down to a last heat 5-1 from Leigh Adams and Lee Richardson.
They are a formidable force on their own track, and despite Oxford winning 49-46 at Oxford in the A fixtures, the omens don't look that good.
However, there have been too many Machine riders off the pace lately.
Travis McGowan has been through a lean spell as has Jesper Jensen, and indeed, by his own high standards, so has Greg Hancock.
The one shining light above a miserable season so far has been the form of Niels-Kristian Iversen, who has quickly become an established Elite League performer.
Henka Gustafsson will be hoping to continue his sparkling form after notching up 20 points in the two meetings against Coventry at the weekend.
Silver Machine will need a good performance ahead of their league encounter against the reigning champions Poole Pirates at the Stadium tomorrow.
Peterborough: P Karlsson, L Dryml, A Dryml, J Kylmakorpi, S Ermoleko, H Bager, J Armstrong.
Oxford: G Hancock, T McGowan, JB Jensen, N-K Iversen, S Andersson, T P Madsen, H Gustafsson.
