Bank cards, a large quantity of tools and special issue Royal Mint coins were among the haul of items stolen after several cars were broken into in Langford Village, Bicester.
Four vehicles were targeted in Pipits Croft, Goldcrest Way, Lapwing Close and Peregrine Way between 1.30am and 6am on May 6.
Det Sgt Ian Hunter, of the Cherwell priority crime team, said: "The coins that were stolen are of high value, and were boxed and had authenticity certificates with them."
