Flower arrangements in memory of loved ones will be a feature of the Charter Flower Festival in St Mary's Church, Wallingford, at the end of July.
The festival is part of Charter Weekend celebrating the 850th anniversary of the granting of the town's charter by King Henry II.
Organiser Eira Hoare said: "Lots of people are doing, or have sponsored, arrangements in memory of loved ones.
"There's nothing sad about it -- it's a celebration of their lives.
"The church will be ablaze with colour.
"It promises to be a lovely way to celebrate the Charter and the lives of ordinary people."
