Hellenic League patron Sir Henry Cooper added his congratulations after Didcot Town's FA Vase triumph.
The former British heavyweight boxing champion left a message on Didcot's website following the victory.
He said: "I would like to offer my sincere congratulations, and hope that you enjoy your celebrations."
Former Oxford United coach Malcolm Crosby was also quick to offer praise.
Crosby, who arranged for Didcot to train at Middlesbrough's training ground prior to their semi-final match at Jarrow said: "I am absolutely chuffed to bits for the lads.
"To win a national final at any level is a tremendous achievement, and I would like to put on record how proud I am of all of them.
"It's a fabulous day for Didcot and a fabulous day for Oxfordshire."
