Kitty Boggis has been selected for the European Eventing Championships after her stunning debut in the Badminton Horse Trials.
Boggis, 22, from Lew, near Bampton, Witney, will become the first eventer to represent Great Britain at pony, junior, young rider and senior level when she competes at Blenheim Palace from September 8-11.
Her call-up is no surprise after she rode Five Boys to seventh place at Badminton, losing out only to Olympic medallists.
Boggis said: "It's all slightly overwhelming, to go so well at Badminton and then be selected to ride as an individual at the Europeans.
"It's a dream, just fantastic."
Boggis is part of the Lottery-funded World Class Start & Potential programme, which supports young riders with Olympic potential.
