Carly Hayles and Jack Gosden-Kaye were in superb form to help City of Oxford win their annual graded junior meeting at Temple Cowley.

They took the top club award, finishing well of local rivals Witney and Abingdon.

Hayles also won the top girl award, with the top boy accolade going to Jack Gosden-Kaye.

Twelve-year-old Hayles cruised to victory in the 50m freestyle, the 50m backstroke and butterfly and the 200m free, as did Gosden-Kaye, 9, who won the 50 free, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly.

Nine-year-old Molly Williamson, also did well, winning the 50m freestyle and 50m breaststroke.

She was also second in the 200m freestyle race.

It was a good day for the Williamsons, with her brother, 12-year-old Max, winning the 50m freestyle, and coming second in the 200m freestyle and was third in the 50m breaststroke.

Richard Cadle, 11, and 12-year-old Ben Royal also added some medals to their collections.

Cadle won gold in 50m butterfly, silver in the 200m freestyle and bronze in the 50m breaststroke.

Royal won the 50m backstroke, was second in the 50m breaststroke and won the 50m freestyle.

Winning both gold and a silver were 10-year-old Lauren Hawtin in the 100 IM and 50 breaststroke, and Anna Canlan-Shaw in the 50m breaststroke and 50m butterfly.

Ten-year-old Leanne Brooks struck gold in the 200m freestyle as did Claire Webb in the 50m breast- stroke.

Ayla Karaman won gold in the 11-year-old 50m breaststroke.

Silvers also went to 10-year-olds Mia Newman in 200m freestyle, Jonathan Scanlan in the 50m breaststroke, 11-year-olds Jack Kovandzich in 50m freestyle, Dan Bowen in the 100 IM, and 12-year-old Ben Burgess in the 50m butterfly.

Claire Webb (10 year 100m IM), Tomas Chapel (10-year 50m breaststroke) and Jack Kovandzich (11-year 50m back) all won bronze.
