An angry Andrea Bocelli fan has decided to take concert promoters Vipco to court because she believes it is the only way she will see her money again.
Marie Crump, 28, spent more than £250 on three tickets for the concert, which should have taken place on April 30 at the Kassam Stadium.
Ms Crump never received the tickets and says she has no confidence in promoters Mike Dandridge and Darren Ward to stage the event.
Despite countless calls and e-mails to Vipco's office in Islip, she has never received a response and says chasing Vipco through the courts is now her only option.
Ms Crump, who used to live in Oxford but is now based in Devon, said: "I have not heard from Vipco for weeks. It's impossible to get hold of them no matter how many times you try.
"It was making me so angry and frustrated that I had to do something. We're not talking about a small amount of money here, there's £250 at stake, so I sought legal advice.
"Having done that, I decided I would take it to the county court."
Ms Crump was told she would have to give Mr Dandridge and Mr Ward seven days' notice of her plans -- which she has -- and that time elapsed at midnight last night.
She said: "It is going to cost me £50 to do this, but as far as I see it, that's £50 well spent. It is early days. I've only just picked up all the paperwork. I don't know yet where or when the case might be heard.
"Up until a few weeks ago, I really wanted to go to the concert but now I just want my money back."
Mr Dandridge was unavailable for comment.
