The IZZO National Club Champions Cup proved worth the wait for Chipping Norton junior Giverny Porter as she added another title to her impressive collection.
Porter, 16, claimed the 2004 nett trophy at the Forest of Arden last week, but the event should have been held at The Belfry's Brabazon Course late last year.
It was postponed after incorrect fertilizer was added to the fairways, leaving Porter to triumph at the new venue, which featured the British Masters' Sunday pin positions.
Her victory came despite carrying an injury she picked up playing football at Millfield School.
She carded a gross 83 nett 77 to take the title.
Porter has also made the Oxfordshire Ladies' squad to face Berkshire, Bucks, Hertfordshire and Hampshire in South East Division 1 County Week at Beaconsfield from June 14 to 17.
Oxon squad: G Porter (Chipping Norton), A Kelly (Huntercombe), J Lucket (Henley), L Mason (Burford), N Ives (Witney Lakes), S Round, K O'Connor (both Tadmarton Heath), K Turner, L Jupp (both Studley Wood).
