Two people died when a light aircraft crashed into a farm field near Towcester.
One person is thought to be from the south Northamptonshire area.
The plane, a two-seater Slingsby Firefly, had taken off minutes earlier from Turweston Airfield at Brackley, near Bicester.
It came down on May 25 in a crop field close to the village of Pottersbury, off the A5.
A joint investigation into the crash, which happened just after 5pm, is being carried out by the Air Accident Investigation Branch and Northamptonshire police.
A police spokesman said: "Two people died when a light aircraft crashed at Pottersbury.
"Police are trying to trace relatives of those who died, and we have no further information to release at the moment.
"One person is thought to be from South Northamptonshire, the other is possibly from overseas. The names of the victims will be released when relatives have been informed."
