Students and academics at Oxford University are voting on the European Constitution today.
Balloting is taking place at more than 30 colleges at Oxford University up to 5pm.
The referendum is being organised by the Oxford University European Affairs Society in conjunction with Oxford University Student's Union.
Tim Johnston, graduate student at Keble College and chairman of the referendum committee, said: "The referendum is an opportunity to prompt university members to engage with the EU Constitutional Treaty."
