Bampton, who recently won the Witney & District FA Division 3 title, are to merge with North Berks League outfit Buckland.
The amalgamation came about after Buckland were evicted from their ground by the landowner, and it seemed that the club would fold.
But Bampton stepped in and agreed to accommodate Buckland next season.
It means Bampton Town will now be represented in both the Witney & District FA and the North Berks League, with Bampton & Buckland FC playing in the latter for one more season.
A reserve team will also be formed, while Bampton have taken over the running of Buckland's over 35 team, which will now be known as Bampton Town Veterans.
Buckland secretary Martyn Holder said: "We looked at several options when it became evident that we were being forced out of existence.
"Bampton Town was by far the best of these. They are an ambitious club with a fine youth set-up. Their successes will be reflected in the adult teams in the future."
Bampton Town will hold their annual meeting at The Horseshoes pub on Tuesday, June 7 (7.30pm).
