CITY of Oxford's Laura Ralph and Sam van de Schootbrugge were in sparkling form when the Oxon & North Bucks' junior team competed in an inter-counties gala at Loughborough University.
Both swimmers won the 200m individual medley events in their 12-year age groups.
A large number of swimmers were competing in a 50m pool for the first time and found the longer meterage quite a challenge.
However, ONB's boys ten-year medley relay team of Matthew Masters, Conor Taylor, Natham Harkin and James Meaney were outstanding winners.
City of Oxford's Myles Taylor also swam well, taking second place in his 100m butterfly event. Other second places were achieved by Sarah Powell, Conor Taylor and Harkin.
