John Bailey, chairman of FA Vase winners Didcot Town, has spoken of his pride at being given a lifetime achievement award at the GLS Hellenic League Premier Division club's annual present- ation night.
Bailey, who has been chairman for ten years, said: "I was very moved - I knew nothing about it.
"Vice-chairman Mike Cox has also done a lot for the club - it's been a joint effort really.
"It was a fantastic night and the award was a good way to end the season."
Boss Stuart Peace gave the whole team his manager's player-of-the-year award for their efforts over the season.
The players' player was defender Danny Campbell, while skipper Jamie Heapy received the supporters' player-of-the-year accolade.
Justin Lambourne was made clubman of the year.
