KATHERINE O'Connor continued her fine summer form by winning the Oxfordshire Girls' Championships at Burford.
The 15-year-old Frilford Heath and Tadmarton member added the title to the Oxfordshire Schools' Championship she won by beating 52 boys.
O'Connor's winning round of 70 missed the Burford course record by just one shot and saw her finish ten strokes ahead of Studley Wood members Lauren Jupp and Kate Turner.
Victory saw her handicap reduced to 4.8, while fellow Tadmarton golfer Nicola Shaw won the nett competition.
CHIPPING Norton are through to the semi-finals of the Oxfordshire Ladies Captains' Trophy for the fifth consecutive year.
They have won the title for the last three years and are confident of more success when the final stages are held at Caversham Heath on June 10.
The Chipping Norton team of Chris Reeves (captain), Jayne Laurie, Jill Woolley, Anne Johnson, Wendy Newton and Anne Boyle defeated Brailes to reach the last four.
