Hot favourite Greenacre Lin will have plenty of support in tonight's William Hill Cesarewitch decider at Oxford Stadium, but local punters will be looking for a value-for-money bet.

Greenacre Lin, who stormed home by seven lengths to claim her final spot, is trained by Oxford specialist Brian Clemenson from Hove and looks the part.

However, if you want value for money, you won't go far wrong in the beautifully-bred Zigzag Stewart, who makes the long trip from Manchester.

By Droppys Vieri and Perrys Pusher, it appears only a matter of time before the black and white dog makes a name for himself on the open race scene.

He has had only two races, both around here, and won each with plenty in hand.

The trouble is that he is drawn right alongside Greenacre Lin in the inside slots, but he does have the important red jacket.

On recent running, the race would appear to be between the pair, but Zigzag still has plenty to find on the clock.

An outside bet is local trainer Nick Colton's Tom Tiler and victory for him would bring the house down.

The big race is supported by some classy open race hounds, not to mention 450m track record holder Paramount Silver, Black Pear, top hurdler Selby Ben, while Betathan Pebbles looks good for Paul Young.

The seven supporting opens include a marathon over the 845m trip.

Spectators are reminded that racing gets under way 15 minutes earlier than normal, at 7.20pm.
