Banbury crashed out of the Cockspur Cup with a seven-wicket defeat at home to Knowle & Dorridge in the third round.
The Home Counties Premier League leaders were bowled out for 167 off 43.4 overs.
And Knowle & Dorridge then strolled to 168-3 off just 34 overs.
It leaves Henley to fly the flag for Oxfordshire, and they continue their challenge with a fourth-round tie against Reading at the Breakspear on Sunday.
Slow bowlers had a field day on the first day of Oxford University's three-day match against MCC in the Parks yesterday.
The Dark Blues, who elected to bat first, were dismissed for 197 and in the last session, MCC closed for 99-3.
A lack of application was the Dark Blues's downfall. With the exception of Guy Adams, all the batsmen reached double figures then got themselves out, which helped off-spinner Rob Nelson to figures of 5-69.
Openers James Knott and David Pashley put on 88 for the MCC, but in the last 30 minutes, three wickets fell - all to spin.
