A teenager charged with stabbing a man has been released from custody and banned from the county following a bail hearing yesterday.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with unlawful wounding with intent following an attack in Warburg Crescent, Blackbird Leys on May 31.
At Oxford Magistrates' Court yesterday he was released on bail and ordered not to enter Oxfordshire unless it was to attend court or see a solicitor.
He must attend police appointments three times a week, not contact prosecution witness and reside at an agreed address outside the county.
The youth is accused of stabbing Lee Plowman, 26, who remains in hospital at John Radcliffe Hospital after surgery.
