CCS Home Counties League Division 1: Henley paid for dropped catches in their 55-run dedfeat away to Basingstoke and North Hants on Saturday.
The defending Division 1 champions put down eight chances to let Basingstoke get away and reach 275-7 off their 66 overs.
Henley really went to pieces in the last ten overs, from which the home side rattled up 100 runs.
Any chance Henley had of getting the runs departed as both openers Chris Ellison and Mark Bredell fell for ducks.
David Taylor produced a mid-innings flurry of 41 in six overs, as they kept up the chase, before becoming one of five victims for Jamaican paceman Gavin Tonge.
They did well to rally from 154-8 to 220 all out in the 47th over.
