Women are invited to spring clean their wardrobes, while making money for charity -- and themselves too.

The Witney and District fundraising team of the Harwell-based charity Against Breast Cancer is holding a 50/50 Ladies Fashion Exchange at Ceewood Hall, Smith's Estate, Witney, on Friday, July 1.

Chairman Jeanne Chattoe said: "This is a great way to make yourself clear out your wardrobe or sell your fashion mistakes while helping a charity that is funding pioneering research into breast cancer.

"This promises to be a great way to find some fashion bargains, while enjoying a glass of wine with friends."

The hall will be open from 1pm to 5.30pm in the afternoon for people to bring along their unwanted clean and pressed ladies' clothes (a maximum of 15 items), as well as shoes and accessories.

The sale price will be divided 50/50 between ABC and the seller or, if preferred, the entire amount can be donated to the charity.

Entry to the over-18s only evening, which runs from 6.30pm to 9pm, costs £1 including a glass of wine or soft drink.

Anyone who cannot drop clothes off on the day should call 01993 848539, 01993 842761, 01865 883464 or 01993 200421.
