phones I have a bee in my bonnet about the mobile phone company Orange.
I have been an Orange customer for many years and always pay £5 insurance every month on my bill.
On May 25, my mobile phone went wrong -- it started rebooting itself like a computer.
I telephoned Orange customer services and was told that my phone was faulty and they would have to send me a new phone.
For this pleasure, they would have to charge me a £15 administration fee. I thought, fair enough, and my new mobile phone arrived the next day.
Now three weeks later, my mobile phone is stuck on headset.
Guess what? They told me there would be a £15 administration fee.
I told them I had paid £15 three weeks before, and they said the admin charge could be waived only if it was less than seven days since the replacement was made.
I understand the phones are reconditioned, but I am angry that I have to keep paying the £15 administration fee, especially when I pay £5 a month insurance.
Why pay £5 a month when you have to pay £15 every time your phone breaks?
