Wallingford's annual beer and blues festival ended up just a blues fest for the last two hours - enthusiastic drinkers drank the place dry by 9pm on the second day.
Treasurer Dominic Feeley said: "Ideally, we'd have liked to run out about two hours later.
"But it's better than having to throw beer away.
"We usually drink the place dry by the end of the festival, but it was a little earlier than expected this year."
Mr Feeley, who also stage manages the show, said it had been a very successful festival and "generous donations" should be made to the Rainbow Pre-School in Wallingford and Crowmarsh Pre-school from the proceeds.
Hundreds of gallons of real ale from several different breweries -- including the newly-brewed Wallingford Charter Ale -- went well with the music in the Regal Centre on Friday and Saturday.
Former Wallingford mayor Betty Atkins is pictured at the festival with her daughter and current mayor Linda Atkins, and festival director John Beaton.
The Regal Centre was brightened up for the weekend by paintings done by the pre-school children and hung on the walls.
