OXFORD Silver Machine promoter Nigel Wagstaff has acted swiftly in a bid to hasten Billy Hamill's return to the team.
He has signed up young Russian Renat Gafurov, who will come into the side as soon as Wagstaff can get a new 1-7 approved by the BSPA.
It means riders will have to go to accommodate Hamill and the new signing.
Wagstaff said: "Renat will need time to adapt, but he is a rider for the future. I saw him in action against the USA in the World Cup qualifier and the only point he dropped was to Greg Hancock ."
