SIX bands will be hoping to raise the roof and lots of money for Cancer Research with a two-day music extravaganza at Cooper School in Bicester.
The event takes place for the second year running at the school, in Churchill Road, on Friday, July 1, from 7pm, and Saturday, July 2, from 2.15pm.
Friday evening's entertainment will be particularly poignant for two of the musicians, Carl, 20, and Richard Warner, 18, because the event is being held in memory of their father Kevin, 43, who died from the disease.
Tickets cost for Friday only £4, all day Saturday £7, Saturday evening £4 or for both days £10. They are available by post from Cooper School, Churchill Road, Bicester, OX26 4RS.
