Your report, Sex pest wanted to go back to jail (Oxford Mail, June 14), should be required reading for the judiciary and all the 'bleeding heart' do-gooders that this country is burdened with.

They are always banging the drum and shouting the odds about the 'terrible conditions' of prisons.

Yet here is a man who has re-offended for the sole purpose of getting back inside.

If we had a proper prison regime which struck fear and dread into the criminal fraternity, he might not have been so keen to seek re-admission.
